The Spanish Playhouse is a creative, arts-based Spanish immersion program where children learn through the beauty of everyday life. Founded in 2021, we’ve grown into a joyful, nurturing home for bilingual learning—where art, music, movement, and connection guide each child’s development.
Meet The Team

Founder Program Director
Ms. Julissa
Julissa is a warm, creative, and visionary educator with a rich musical background and a deep passion for child development. As the program’s founding director, she thoughtfully shapes the learning environment with intention and expertise, believing that children grow best through the beauty of everyday life—within spaces filled with natural materials, meaningful routines, and opportunities to explore, play, and create freely.
Her leadership is grounded in honoring each child’s individuality and fostering a calm, connected community where creativity and curiosity can flourish. Outside the classroom, Julissa enjoys writing music and documentary photography, passions that reflect the same appreciation for beauty, expression, and authenticity that she brings to her work each day.

Director of Operations
Mr. Jorge
Mr. Jorge brings extraordinary musical talent and joyful energy to our programs. A multi-instrumentalist with a love for flamenco, he teaches group music classes, private piano lessons, and also works closely with our homeschoolers—leading engaging program sessions with his signature blend of structure, creativity, and excitement.
With deep knowledge of both music and Spanish, he makes advanced concepts feel simple, fun, and accessible for young learners. Beyond teaching, Jorge enjoys playing jazz and exploring new musical methods, always seeking fresh ways to enrich the experiences he brings to children. His artistry and enthusiasm make music and learning an unforgettable part of The Spanish Playhouse.

Program Operations Coordinator
Ms. Stephanie
Ms. Stephanie is the organizational backbone of The Spanish Playhouse, ensuring every family feels supported from the very first interaction. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and brings both academic expertise and classroom experience to her role. As the leader of our Adult Spanish Program, she teaches with clarity, patience, and genuine encouragement, helping learners build confidence and connection through language.
Stephanie is known for her professionalism, warmth, and the thoughtful attention she brings to every detail. Outside the classroom, she enjoys horseback riding and runs her own crochet business, creating beautiful handmade animal friends that our children adore at the Playhouse. Her creativity and dedication strengthen the welcoming spirit of our entire community.

Lead Teacher
Ms. Emely
Ms. Emely is a gifted educator known for her patience, creativity, and deep dedication to young children. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders and brings years of experience supporting children’s language and developmental growth. With sharp observation skills and a natural ability to connect with young learners, Emely creates a learning environment where curiosity, creativity, and bilingual learning flourish side by side. Her nurturing style helps children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.
Beyond her professional strengths, Emely brings fun and personality to our community—and she is even known for making the best flans, a favorite among our team and families. Her warmth, talent, and genuine love for teaching make her an invaluable part of The Spanish Playhouse.

Instructional Guide
Ms. Miledy
With nearly 20 years of experience running her own Spanish-immersion daycare, Ms. Miledy brings the heart, warmth, and comfort of a true Latin American “abuelita” to The Spanish Playhouse. Children instantly feel at ease with her—she has that rare, classic, nurturing touch that makes every child feel loved, safe, and at home. She fills the classroom with music, laughter, dancing, and simple joys that celebrate the beauty of childhood.
Outside the classroom, she is a talented seamstress, creating everything from curtains to children’s clothing—another reflection of her creativity and the care she puts into her environment. Her presence adds a sense of family, tradition, and warmth that makes our community feel deeply supported.

Instructional Guide
Ms. Carina
Ms. Carina brings a fun, caring, and energetic presence to our program, offering children a warm and joyful environment each day. With a background in neuropsychology, she contributes a thoughtful and informed perspective on how children grow, play, and learn—especially when it comes to supporting their social-emotional needs.
She loves dancing, singing, and joining in hands-on activities with the children, helping make every moment feel engaging and positive. Carina is also passionate about her own learning journey and is currently studying English, reflecting her dedication to growth and connection. Her presence adds joy, encouragement, and a supportive touch to our playhouse community.
