Program Policies
These guidelines ensure smooth, safe, and equitable class experiences for all families. Policies are consistently maintained and cannot be altered.
Kids Classes & Mommy/Daddy + Me Classes
Safety
-
Children in the Mommy/Daddy + Me class must remain with their parent/guardian at all times.
-
Teachers are unable to supervise individual children during this class; the parent/guardian is responsible for their child’s safety and participation.
-
All students—including Mommy/Daddy + Me participants—are encouraged to help clean up toys at the end of class. This supports healthy habits and ensures the teacher can sanitize the room promptly before the next class.
Attendance & Makeups
-
Regular attendance is a responsibility and choice. If you are unable to attend a class, please notify the instructor in advance.
-
Two (2) makeup classes are offered per session for Kids (ages 4–10) and Mommy/Daddy + Me.
-
Makeups are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance.
-
To schedule a makeup, please email us and we will place you into the next available class.
Refunds & Credits
-
For prolonged absences due to severe illness or unexpected circumstances, a credit for up to five (5) missed classes may be applied toward a future session.
-
If a participant needs to withdraw before a session begins, a credit toward a future session may be offered if notification is provided in a timely manner.
-
Credits must be used within 12 months.
-
The $25 Registration Fee is non-refundable.
Illness Policy
To maintain a healthy environment for all:
-
Children must be fever-free (without medication) for 24 hours before attending class.
-
Please do not attend if your child has a contagious illness, vomiting, diarrhea, or any symptoms that could affect other participants.
-
Teachers reserve the right to request that a child be picked up if they appear unwell.
Behavior Policy
-
We strive to maintain a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment.
-
If a child’s behavior repeatedly disrupts the class or compromises safety, teachers may discuss alternative solutions with the parent/guardian.
-
Continued disruption may result in removal from the class or program at the discretion of the staff (credits may be offered depending on circumstances).
Photo & Video Policy
-
The Spanish Playhouse may occasionally take photos or short video clips during class for educational or promotional use.
-
If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, please notify us in writing at info@thespanishplayhouse.com, and we will ensure their privacy is respected.
Privacy, Arrival, & Pick-Up
-
Please arrive no earlier than five minutes before your scheduled class to allow the previous class privacy and transition time.
-
Please pick up your child promptly at the end of class.
-
Each class and private lesson is entitled to its own time and privacy—thank you for helping us maintain this important courtesy.
